How to buy digital assets on Truve
This guide describes the end-to-end purchase flow once the Truve app is live (target June 2026). You will pay in USDC on Base using a Web3 wallet. There are no card checkouts — if you need help funding USDC, start with Wallet setup.
Open Truve and connect your wallet
Go to truve.online (or the official app URL announced at launch). Click Connect wallet and choose your provider: MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, or another WalletConnect-compatible app.
Approve the connection only on the real Truve site. Never paste your seed phrase into any website.
Confirm you have USDC on Base
The listing price is shown in USDC. Your wallet must hold enough USDC on the Base network — not only on Ethereum mainnet or another chain.
You also need a small amount of ETH on Base for gas (typically cents per transaction). See Wallet setup if you need to bridge or buy USDC.
Find a listing and read the details
Browse by category (e.g. ComfyUI workflows) or search. Before buying:
- Check file type, size, and dependencies (models, custom nodes).
- Read the license (personal vs commercial).
- Review seller reputation when ratings are available.
Click Buy and confirm the transaction
When you click Buy, your wallet opens a transaction that sends USDC to the Truve smart contract on Base according to the listing price. Review the amount and network (must be Base) before confirming.
Wait for confirmation
Base confirms transactions quickly — often within seconds. The UI shows when the payment is finalized on-chain. Do not close the tab until the success state appears.
Download your file
After payment, Truve uses Lit Protocol to verify your purchase and unlock the decryption key. Your browser downloads the file (or package) directly. Save it immediately and back up to your own storage.
Blockchain payments are irreversible — there are no chargebacks. If a file is broken, use the future review and dispute channels described in the product FAQ.
